Our story comes from a simple place - a love of good food and craft beer. Being born and raised in North Carolina, our supply of both breweries and diverse cuisine are endless.
Eric is a professional beer photographer, better known as "beertography”, with over 20 years of experience under his belt. Jess started her photography in the “foodie” culture back in 2012 making a name for herself among the local restaurants and chefs as reliable and truthful.
Our name sometimes needs a little help describing for those not in the craft beer scene. Seeing as Eric’s primary subject is craft beer and Jess’s being food - we decided to create a play on words with one of our favorite Southern dishes. So the answer is no, we purposely meant to spell it “Grisettes”. While we do love grits, just as any Southern soul would, a Grisette is a Belgian style ale that is light-bodied, pale in color, and brewed from wheat. In that, our name was born.
